Arden Grange manufactures the highest quality and most nutritionally complete pet food available on the market. They are family run business that is competing in a market with some very large players. Whilst their product is more than a match for the competition their marketing budget isn’t. For this reason Arden Grange need to be very targeted and creative with their marketing activities. In practical terms they wanted and agency to develop an ecommerce website and present a strategy for this new project.
We worked closely with the whole team at Arden Grange to profile their customer base and develop a strategy that would unitlise their marketing budget to the best advantage. We redesigned the website design and the whole approach to managing the visitor experience on the website.
Our strategy focused on Search Engine Optimisation, Interaction with the brand and directing traffic to clear, effect online sales. We developed content strategies that would both inform and educate Arden Grange’s loyal customers whilst drawing new search engine traffic to the website. We developed unique online interactions such as ‘Ask Ness’, Ness being Arden Grange’s in-house pet nutritionist who customers could interact with and ask general questions about pet health and nutrition.
Whilst employing all of these strategies we never strayed from the main goal of Selling product. At all times quick easy access to product is at the forefront of the website. With every product to basket being only 2 clicks away.
The website has seen consistent growth in traffic and a much greater level of interaction with Arden Grange’s customers. Online sales have grown considerably.
