Our proposal to you for the development of your marketing web siteMembers of the ATW web marketing team will meet with you to discuss Web Marketing. During our meeting we will demonstrate how to use the power of search engine marketing to generate sales leads for your business. Search engine optimisationWe will show you how the major search engines such as Google and MSN make their listings, and explore the answers to a question that is crucial to successful web marketing. This is "what someone who may be looking for your products or services will type into the search box?" Successful web marketing therefore considers how people that don't know you will find you. Failing to address this point means that your web site will be no more than simply an online brochure. When prospects type in a brief description or some other important term into search engines you want your site to pop up at the top of Google or MSN's list - ahead of your competitors! This is when new business generation can occur as these important prospects are firstly introduced to your site by top listings and then encouraged to contact you by what they see on your web site. Deciding what terms visitors could search for is no longer guesswork, we can test terms using software to priorities those terms appropriate to your intended audience. The key to informing search engine robots So here is the nerdy stuff! Our key job is to establish, and then confirm, a pattern or theme to the visiting robot as it first arrives at and then spiders each separate page of your web site. This is most easily achieved by making a clear theme statement in the title of the page (this appears in the top blue bar of Internet Explorer) and then restating it so the robot picks it out as a theme as it passes through the page. This is achieved via TEXT URL links, "alt" tags on buttons and images, H1 Tags (Heading Level 1 Tags), hyperlinks to relevant file names, meta-description and so on. Even the choice of domain name can be very important in telling the robot what the site and pages are about. Our methodology We believe our success is due to the initial web site structure and fabric that we put in place at the outset. We believe that a combination of excellent search engine listings together with good aesthetics, design and content that will reinforce your marketing message effectively is the key to success on the net.. Our methodology is to work closely with you to fully understand the market into which you are selling. This gives us the ability to develop pages that appeal to the dual customer, being Google, MSN etc as well as your new business prospects. What next? If you would like to discuss your web marketing requirements in more detail, please contact Richard Watts at ATW on 01243 839160 to arrange a meeting. We look forward to hearing from you. |
